The North East Zonal Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Muhammad Kanar, has said that the federal government is set to reconstruct the Government Girls Secondary School Chibok where more than 200 girls were abducted by Boko Haram.
According to Kanar, a team of architects has been to Chibok to ensure that the school is reconstructed.
He said the school will be redesigned and equipped with modern facilities as well as improved security to protect students from further attacks.
The coordinator also added that the federal government is considering sending relief materials to refugee camps in Cameroon where hundreds of Nigerian citizens take refuge from Boko Haram.
He said federal government has provided N500 million worth of relief materials for victims in the North East and only registered persons can access the assistance.
