Three gunmen reportedly stormed Ebedeni Ward 6,
in Ndokwa East Local Government area of Delta state at about 1.30 pm
today, April 11, and carted away electoral materials – ballot boxes and
papers.
The men suspected to be political thugs
were said to have assaulted the only female police officer stationed at
the centre. They removed her head dress and took away her identity card.
It was reported that the Resident Electoral Commission in the state, Aniedi Ikiowak,visited the unit shortly after the attack.
